Meeting of the Waters
Avoca (Irish: Abhóca meaning "the great river") The Avoca started life as two troubled rivers, the Avonmore (Irish: Abhainn Mhór, meaning "Big River") and the Avonbeg (Irish: Abhainn Bheag, meaning "Small River"). These joined at a spot called the Meeting of the Waters and became Avoca the Great River .
At the Meeting of the Waters, the Avonmore and beg rivers come together to form the Avoca River - Life is about collaboration - working together to over come challenges and barriers .
